My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and try to go every year for our anniversary. Always a treat to stay here. The staff is polite and rooms are great. They were remodeling/updating some of the rooms. I hope they kept some of them in the older looking/antique fashion. The history of the place is amazing and walking the halls looking at the pictures can make you feel like you're stepping back in time. Rebecca's is great for dining in, and it couldn't be more convenient since it is right on site. It is such a pleasure to sit out at night under the stars and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is supposed to be haunted, and we believe it to be. We've had our own experiences, but nothing to extraordinary. Definitely worth it for a romantic getaway for two.

The rooms and staff were excellent. High quality. They could work on more vegan friendly food options as far as their menu goes but that’s my only critique. My family and I were very happy there.

If you're a golfer, it's a great place and if you're not, it's a great place! Amenities like the pool and spa still not open due to, you know . . . The walk up to the tower was also closed.nSuper friendly hotel staff and same with the restaurant staff.nI took a motorcycle ride to Cloudcroft from.Las Cruces just for the trip and the cooler climate. Rode around and realized I wasn't going back home .nI really lucked out, as a I had no reservations but they had some cancelations.nI got the room with one standard queen bed. It was a small room but it had all I needed.nThey also gave me a ticket for a complimentary breakfast. You pick off the breakfast menu. There is indoor and outdoor seating - both beautiful.nThere are a lot of quaint and comfy seating areas throughout the lodge, whether you're alone or with family and friends.nIf you've never been . . . It's worth a visit or a stay. It's up in the mountains and a great place to simply get away.

Great place! Stayed many times. Our room on the first night was not the best, as it had a broken bed. The next morning we spoke to Roxanne and she moved us to a new room, which was fabulous! Great customer service. Kimberly was a great waitress during breakfast! Gabriel was very helpful as well during check in. The lady who checked us in (I did not catch her name ud83dude1e) was awesome and informed me of a special deal! I would highly recommend this hotel! The service has always been great!
