I have stayed at both the Morrison and Davis Houses several times now when I visit Boston. It has always been a lovely experience. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. It is quiet, and convenient. Off street parking, close to everything, and easy. The owners are so nice, and go out of their way to be helpful. I said that I was gluten-free, and they made fresh baked gluten free muffins for me for breakfast. I will definitely be staying here in the future.
Lovely old house in a nice neighborhood a 5-minute walk from the T. Everything is just so. Hosts Ron and Linda are altogether charming and helpful. Good breakfast, often with good conversation. Very good coffee available 24 hours.
Clean, convenient, quiet, safe. Reasonably priced for the area. Friendly inkeepers. We stayed in a room that shared a bath and waiting to use it was never an issue.nGreat coffee and tea accessible.nBreakfast isn't the heartiest but we got filled up.
This is one of the best hotels I have been to. Great breakfast, wonderful attention. They made us feel right at home. The hotel is located two blocks from Davis station. There are many restaurants around and interesting events at Davis square. Totally recommended.
Second time here and totally content- the beds are fantastic, breakfast company is often very good and it is so peaceful to sit in the living room with the cat and a hot cup of tea.nnGreat shower, cozy in the winter, and although this time we had the room right next to the laundry it was extremely quiet.
