No frills guesthouse in a great location for Cambridge: The 77 to Harvard goes right from outside the doorstep, beautiful farm shop (Petersham Nurseries) opposite), Davis sq (pubs and restaurants and cinema) 5 minutes down the road - that's where the T train RED LINE is. Farmers market on this route every Tuesday. Clean bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. Porch areas and communal kitchen was handy. There is no reception desk and no staff around, but this was fine. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Really excellent value for money.
They overbooked. So we were given a room in another building 100 feet down the street. Not that big of a deal. Private bathroom across the hall. Bummer, still okay. Came back after a day of sightseeing, no electricity, no new towels, real bummer. The guy next door shows me how to reset breaker. Really?
