Freepoint Hotel Cambridge, a Tapestry Collection

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the water pressure was poor and the service was lacking. On the second night of our stay I went to the front desk twice to request two additional pillows for our room. Both gentlemen at the desk stated they would bring them by our room, and neither of them ever delivered the pillows. The hotel did not appear to be very full nor was the parking lot. I'm not sure why it would be so difficult to provide a few additional pillows...? We would have paid for them!

Clean and neat. No microwave in my room..just a communal one downstairs. Couldn't sleep due to noisy guests all night banging on their room door. No hall cameras to detect any activity on the floors. No food available. You have to go elsewhere and choices are very limited.

I spent four days at the hotel. I needed rest fromnsurgery . I wanted not to worry about cooking orngoing places , I just wanted to stay put. As I arrived at the front desk , I was told to use my credit card to insure my stay. I put my credit card through the machine. Unfortunately, I had to go buy some medicine but it was only across the parkway.nI had no cash at the store so I had to use my credit card. I could not but my purchase because I didnnot have enough money in my account. I had putna large check in the bank a few days ago so I could not figure out what happened. I was so embarrassed. I had to give back items and then go to the bank to find out what happened.The bank checked my account and said I needed to add money ! What?? I quickly figured Free point hadncharged me whole stay. I was furious! I havenstayed at so many hotels but NEVER had mynstay been immediately taken at check-in!nI went back and discussed it with the front desk.nMaybe they could charge me daily . I was veryndisappointed to find out they , ' hold' the full amount and charge you fifty dollars for ' possible charges to the room', per day. That was an extrantwo hundred dollars! But I was assured I wouldnget it back at check- out. So now I have no moneynto spend . GREAT! It is Hilton's policy to do this, really? There had to be some flexibility. I met with the manager at ten p.m. that night and he would not budge. 'It is policy'. It is too bad Hilton could not be flexible .They lost me as their customer.

Good location with plenty of supermarket chains in walking distance. The rooms are very clean but the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in; or I should stay tried to sleep in as it took me quite a while to fall asleep in it. For some reason the bed is also super short (even though I'm average height).

Its always good, but they my card extra 50.00 twice and it would be back on my and it hasn't happen yet.
