I would give them a 0 if that was an option. They started the panels installation that started 3 months ago, did not complete it, have come to our house with 2 different breaker panels, and each time they blamed someone else for bringing the wrong panel. After calling them several times to find out the status, they blamed the city for the delay. But when I checked the status of the permit with the city, it showed it was approved. Their generous payment plan states that no payment was due until 2 months after the installation and when I told them that the installation is incomplete, so no payment is due yet, they are now saying that the installation does not need to be complete for them to collect payment. My husband and I are on a fixed income, and instead of these solar panels saving us money, they are costing us more, because we are still paying our PG&E bill and the monthly payments for the solar panels that are not doing anything. I have called them numerous times, and they always say someone will get back to me, but their customer service is non-existing. They are a true nightmare to deal with.

Right now I am dissatisfied with this company. They started work in November of 2020 and removed a portion of my roof tiles. The crew said my tiles were too thin and they damaged a 100+. Well it's January and they still don't have a schedule to complete the installation of the solar panels. My roof is covered with a tarp and fortunately it's NOT raining. Their PM did respond with 'we're working on a schedule for you', that was several weeks ago. They were also charging me 60% of the cost to fix my own roof (that they damaged). The tiles were NOT identified in their pre-inspection.

Frustration is an understatement. Their process and communication is horrendous, and we are still waiting for our solar panels and battery to be interconnected after signing with them in August -- it's April!nnHere is the backstory: We agreed to go with Freedom Forever for a solar and batter installation back in August 2020 and signed an agreement with them then. They then told us that the Tesla battery would not be available until Q1 2021, so we could get a different battery or wait. We decided to wait, since we really just want the battery ready for fire season when our power may go off. They finally tell us in January that the battery has been sourced so we can sign more paperwork. In February, they texted us one day before they had a crew ready and sent 12 guys out (some of them without masks during the pandemic). They complete 90% of the job -- adding the panels, installing a new circuit breaker panel, putting up the Telsa battery in our garage, but they ran out of time and didn't finish the job to wire the battery to the circuit breaker. We assumed they'd be back soon. They never got back to us. I emailed the various people that have been in touch with us about the process -- they literally didn't respond. I called a month later, and they said the application is awaiting review (meaning it's sitting there). They told us they would get back to us, and didn't. I emailed again -- no response. I called back again, one moth later. They say they'll get back to us, but let's find out.nnMy solar is still not interconnected 9 months after signing with them...

I’m very dissatisfied with this company as they still have not finished my project and it’s almost been a year. I call and no response from anyone. They give you the run around everyday. I wish I could go back and choose another solar company.

My husband and I sat down with Better Earth/Freedom , Petersen dean, solar city and sun run. We even called pge and talked to the solar dpt. BE and Freedom gave us by far the best package. I wanted the best rate and the best panels. My husband is a mechanic and he looked over every spec sheet and installation plan. During the install he watched them and saw how they did the electrical wiring and racking device. He was very impressed with their work and he has near impossible standards to meet. The whole process took less than a month and install was done by 2oclock. The other companies were pushy and took too long. I'm referring Andrew zambetti and freedom forever to my mother and all my neighbors, everyone needs to get free solar and save money!
