We had a wonderful two night stay at the 1860 House. Rose Marie is an amazing host and made us feel at home. Her inn is very cozy, clean and centrally located in Stowe.
Great house a good mix of old and modern. Right off main St and near everything downtown.
Rose is a lovely woman and an excellent host. Her house is so nice and comfortable that you are not going to want to leave. Highly recommended.
Fantastic owner, location, and house. We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not be more satisfied. It was a quick walk to all the shops and dining places. The room was affordable and the bed was comfortable. The owner, Rose, was extremely welcoming and nice. This is an exceptional place to stay if you want to get the full Stowe experience!
Multiple rooms, all look newly renovated and comfy. Plenty of parking and a block away from the main road of Stowe. Plenty of space for kids to run. Linens and towels supplied. We would stay here again!
