The Stowe Inn

I wish we could give a local Vt business 5 stars but NO. We’ve stayed here before and it was average. This past time the room was less than 1 star. Room 112. Horrible! The place was outdated, dirty and disgusting. The toilet hardly flushed and the headboards were not attached to anything??! We were overcharged and still, after many calls to the Inn it still wasn’t resolved. This place needs a total overhaul!! So disappointed!!!

I love this place!!!! It was so warm and cozy with lots of character. The staff is AWESOME! Randy, Joie and Hailey were super friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Mary Lee who personally searched my room after I'd checked out and had frantically called about a lost valuable. Now THAT is first class desk service! I am eternally grateful to her. I highly recommend the Stowe Inn for an inexpensive, yet clean and quaint stay.

The Stowe Inn and Tavern was beyond worth staying at. Not only do you get a historical feel during your stay but also large, clean, comfortable rooms within a few hundred feet from the Main Street. The location, comfortability and vibe of this Inn is beyond worth the 5 stars! Highly recommend

The Stowe Inn is located in the heart of Stowe Village with many restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries. The Main Inn offers a traditional New England setting with large reading rooms and many amenities. The room was wonderfully decorated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The entire Inn is well kept and Covid compliant. Stowe Mountain Ski Resort is an easy drive up Mountain Road.nnHighly recommend for a weekend getaway or vacation.

Absolutely lovely. Knowledge staff with plenty of local ideas for things to do. Quiet cozy town. First hotel I've been to that felt like a home instead of a place to stay. Will be returning very soon!
