Came to the store in Cranston today to fit and purchase a backpack. After only a couple of minutes Chris M came over to assist in my selection. He was knowledgeable, nice and very helpful. I would have rated 5 stars if the color bag was in stock. Chris, thanks for your patience as I tried on all the different packs.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. They help fit both myself and my girlfriend for new hiking boots. Also bought two backpacks as well as some other equipment for backpacking and I couldn't be happier with the quality. They have my business for any of my outdoor needs.

A good sized REI in the Chapel View Shopping mall. The staff are always very friendly and happy to help out. I usually just come here to drop off my snowboard to be tuned and waxed and can get in and out pretty quickly. It's usually a 2 day turnaround when it's not busy but they do seem to get backed up every once in a while in the shop. They will call you and notify you of any delays though.

John D in the Cranston REI store is a real expert on fitting backpacks. I am shaped slightly differently than most women, so it is extremely difficult to find the right pack for me. He knew exactly what needed to be adjusted and which packs accommodate my needs and wishes. He is an extremely patient professional!

Can't say enough about the REI staff. Mike helped us out today to buy the right bike for our 7 year old daughter. He measured and had her sit on the bike. Then, he had the bike serviced (checked over), before leaving the store. Before cashing out, Sydney explained all the necessary details regarding warranty, in store bike service, manual and fun stickers for the bike. We left there feeling satisfied with the service and care the REI staff gave us. Can't wait to go back. Thank you again REI Cranston, RI.
