This B&B experience sets a new bar and is one I'll definitely be recommending to friends and family :)nnLisa went the extra mile in ensuring our comfort, between COVID precautions, arrival coordination and a surprise home-made bakery treat. Come for the location, but stay for the food ... Chef Mike really blew our socks off with the breakfasts (see pics!). Always on time, down to the minute. His culinary expertise shone through with egg hash dish, but what stole our hearts were the blueberry buttermilk pancakes with freshly made whipped cream, crisp on the outside and pillowy inside. We loved them so much he offered to pack us the extras to go without hesitation; A+ for service! Pork sausage was from their farm, truly farm to table and seasoned with the family recipe. I do note tables were socially distanced and he was excellent about wearing his mask.nnWe got great tips/advice from Lisa, Mike (and Mike's parents, who have great tales) on activities/wineries in the area, they are all passionate and welcoming. The B&B has convenient location midway between Keuka and Seneca lakes, so we got to check out both with ease. Also it's close to Watkin Glens, an excellent distillery (in the middle of nowhere!), and not far from marquee wineries ( Dr. Frank's, Barnstormer, Heron Hill, etc.). At the B&B, hammock and rocking chairs so we could get that country feel. Room was comfortable with well appointed, roomy bathroom (note: the bathroom door looks nice as it is barn-style, though that means it is not sound proof). Lastly, be sure to check out the farm animals in the AMnnI still dream about those blueberry pancakes. And that's after having been to Maine :) I look forward to the day we will return to Dean Lane!

The Dean Lane B&B is an authentic farm house in a peaceful country setting. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The Dean family are wonderful hosts as well as very talented people! The farm to table breakfasts were delicious and a food allergy was accommodated without a problem. Maps of the area were available and any questions we had were answered.nWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. Even though this is out in the country - don't let that scare you away!

We were looking for an authentic experience in the Finger Lakes that felt private and peaceful, but still close to all the activities we wanted to do - kayaking, wineries, hiking, restaurants etc. Dean Lane gave us exactly that and more, run by a friendly, warm family that makes you truly feel welcome and at home during your stay in their farmhouse. Being approx 20 min from Watkins Glen is truly an advantage - you are situated between two beautiful lakes among wide open pastures and charming country roads that make the drive to and from part of the fun. We loved seeing the animals on the farm and had a lot of laughs and great conversation with the hosts during our stay. They are happy to recommend or answer any questions. Now, breakfast is important for us - all the reviews are spot on about this place. The farm to table experience can’t be beat! Lisa and Mike prepared incredible food that we ate while sitting on their porch, watching the sun spill over their serene property - we even saw humming birds in their garden. Definitely recommend!!

You have no idea how good the breakfast is gonna be. Literally worth staying here just for the breakfast alone. Stayed here 6 nights and every morning the breakfast was mind blowing. It’s such a humble place and then they casually deploy a breakfast like you’d get in a 5 star hotel in Paris.
