The Firehouse Inn

Recently spent 5 days there to celebrate our 47th anniversary . My husband is retired from FDNY so this had. A special meaning for us. The apt. Was comfortable clean and quite cozy. Our host Maria was so sweet so personable and went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable. The rehabilitation of this building was a labor of love and she proudly explained it in detail it was amazing. Even with the covid limitations we had a waterfront walkway to explore beautiful parks, historic buildings and museums we even made the pilgrimage to Woodstock . If you are looking for a quiet place with good restaurants within walking distance a host that goes out of her way to make your stay special, then the firehouse inn is you place. Thank You ,Maria
