The most spectacular place ever. Feels like a true vacation from NYC despite how close it actually is. Everything about the place is incredibly special - the villa and rooms, interior design, the food (don’t get me started!!! So delicious), and most of all, the hosts Amanda and Joe. They are wonderful people that make sure your stay is unforgettable.

Stunning, cozy and excellent experience.nnAmanda and Joe own and run this beautiful Villa and did everything to make our stay perfect. Walking in you immediately realize the hard work that has been done to create this space. Everything was crafted beautifully and there isn’t one missed detail. They are very welcoming and work to ensure your every need is met. The breakfast day after day was incredible, Joe does the cooking and he never failed to impress. There were a variety of yummy dishes on the menu each morning and it was truly something to look forward to. If you have the opportunity to join the couple for a dinner in the barn, you must. It is an unbelievable setting and such a great time mingling with other guests and enjoying fabulous food. Highly recommended.

This review is LONG overdue, but must be shared. In short, The Villa was easily one of the best places we have ever stayed and one of the most fun experiences we have had.nnMy wife and I (both early 30s) went back the Fall to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Typically, we are not bed and breakfast style people. We like our own space and don't love staying with and around strangers in an intimate setting. But after looking at some of the reviews and pictures, we decided to give it a shot.nnAmanda and Joe are two of the nicest, warm, fun and amazing people we have ever met. From the minute that we arrived, we felt like we just got to the home of a long-time, great friend and not a hotel/B&B.nnThe main house where you stay is decorated incredibly well and so clean it was like we were the first people to stay there. You can tell that Amanda put in a ton of time, thought and effort in to the decorating. Everything was perfectly chosen; from the furniture to the pottery to the art to the lighting, it all came together so well.nnThe guest rooms are SO nice and cozy. We couldn't get over the amount of thought that Amanda put in to the design and the little details. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room is ridiculously (in a good way) clean, and it just has such a nice at home, cozy feel to it that makes you never want to leave.nnOne of the most important things to us when choosing somewhere to stay is the food. We can confidently say, that the food Joe prepared was some of the best food we have ever had. We love local, farm to table, fresh, simple but elevated style cooking and Joe is a wizard in the kitchen.nnThe meals that he put together for breakfast were delicious. We also loved how they were pretty healthy as well and not overly indulgent, but did have a few things that were just indulgent enough without being over the top.nnWe also opted to do the dinner at their home on Saturday night. There are some pretty great restaurants in the area, but I would recommend opting for the dinner at their house. It's a really enjoyable experience and you feel like you're out at a friends house for dinner (also you can just walk to it from the Villa, so no need to worry about a DD).nnThe Villa is also in a really nice location where you aren't too far from towns or outdoor activities. Everything is a drive, so you can't walk, but it's not too far and the area is so pretty you won't mind driving around.nnThere are probably countless other things I am missing right now, but all in all, 10/10 would recommend. If you appreciate great food, amazing service, a luxurious style of comfort that isn't over the top plus meeting new people, you won't be disappointed. The worst part about the whole trip was having to leave. We can't wait for our next trip up there.
