Barclay Heights Bed and Breakfast at Smythe House

This review was long overdue. My wife and myself stayed here about 6 months ago maybe sooner. The accommodations were clean and the inn keepers were very courteous with interesting conversation. The chef's gourmet cooking was a great start to our mornings! Delicious to say the least. The grounds were spectacular with beautiful country views that we couldn't help but take some shots of the picturesque scenery. Thank you!

We recently stayed at the Barclay Heights Bed & Breakfast at Smythe House. I have only great things to say about our experience at this pet-friendly gem.nThe eclectic rooms are comfy and impeccably clean. The grounds are naturally beautiful and spacious.nDavid and Justine are the most gracious of hosts and charming people. The gourmet breakfast selection and choice of beverages were fantastic along with the service. They even dog-sitted for us while going out. Our experience for my wife’s Birthday weekend was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks again guys!

This was my first time staying here and this was my girlfriend's first experience at a bed and breakfast. I planned a surprise getaway and after much research I settled on this B&B. I definitely made the right choice. I have stayed at a few B&B's both in the U.S and internationally and I have to say this was the best one yet. The facilities were immaculate and the caretakers treated you like part of the family. I had corresponded with the owners for about 2-3 weeks before my arrival to ensure everything was set up. They were able to accommodate all of my requests and did so in a pleasant manner. The owners are both chefs so the breakfast was fantastic. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and this place will hold fond memories for both of us. They also have a location in Costa Rica that we plan to check out in the future.

My fiancee and I had a wonderful stay at the Smythe House. Justine and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay so special. The breakfasts were so amazing!
