Best Western University Inn

This place is one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed at. The guy and lady at the desk that I've spoken with so far are very friendly and the rooms are the cleanest of clean! Spacious as well...ESPECIALLY for the price that I was able to book my room at. ..WOW! The Best Western University Inn on East Hill is probably my favorite hotel to stay at when I am in Ithaca. Hands down!

Quick, easy check in and very accommodating. Anna at the front desk was very helpful getting my daughter checked in for her stay. She was so professional and a sweetheart. There is also to go bag for bfast and pretty close to campus 5 stars!

The hotel cancelled our reservation due to Cornell “buying out the property for a month”. However, we were never contacted about the cancellation. When we arrived the front desk Anna was very hostile towards us when we tried to check in. Apparently it was our fault that we were never contacted about the cancellation because we did not provide our proper information when making the reservation? She quickly mentioned walking us to another hotel but never actually came through with that offer.nnAfter an unnecessarily aggressive further conversation and calling to “contact the manager” they were able to accommodate us for the 1 night of our reservation. I don’t think I have ever been treated so poorly while being a guest at a hotel.nnWhen we finally got to a room it smelled terrible of smoke and hardly looked cleaned. There was a mini alcohol bottle by the bed, broken furniture, smeared windows, ripped cups and dirty coffee makers and a constantly running toilet.nnI would not recommend this property or their customer service.

Front desk lady is the most uneducated and very rude. Liar...police officers came upon her request, she said I TRIED 3 times to get the room keys out of her hand which was a LIE. When I said in front of police officer to watch the video she got quite. I wouldn’t recommend such experience after long and hard day to anyone . NO not good! Shame on Best Western.nTO BEST WESTERN INN MANAGEMENT:nPlease please watch the video from the front desk and let us know here if I raised 3 times my hand to get the room key. Date 01-21-2021 7 PM ish time. After Best Western management please make some action so in the future normal customers could relax after long day!!!nFair to note:n1)cheap pricen2) clean roomn3)cozy atmospheren4)stayed in this hotel for a week and never had a problem!

Good friendly people in a good location. Over all the rooms we nice also.
