Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ithaca

Nice hotel. Clean. Plenty of fresh towels and I noticed they have a nice selection of toiletries in the rooms. The one room on the bottom floor happened to be where most guests park so I did get a lot of headlights shining directly at the curtains and hearing people talking yelling outside the window. Some guest was checking in at 1230am with their trunk open blasting loud dance music. I believe the same guest left a bunch of trash in the same spot when he left in the morning. So I'd recommend staying a little more away from the front entrance or upper floors.

Well, originally I had assigned a 5-star review for this hotel mainly because of its cleanliness and friendly, polite, and more than adequately competent employees that checked me in and out for my one night stay. I now am very disappointed to have to reluctantly give 1 star my first time ever in my long, very much enjoyed history of rating places and businesses on Google. This enjoyment mainly stems from the positive experiences I gain from the places I travel and these businesses I have patroned, while having the ability here to uncandidly and publicly express honest opinion about them. That enjoyment for the first time I can't share and express for this business, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot in Ithaca, NY. The reason for this is because I've recieved a whopping $330 fee 2 long days after checking out of the hotel, a hotel in which I checked into and out of with being present for a total of 8 hours in my room, 6 of which I was asleep, quite, and staying to myself in my room as per usual at any of my hotel stays. 2 entire days after leaving this hotel. The reason behind the fee? A pet cleanup bill for which there was no mess! I do not even know from who or how the bill was mustered together to me, simply an email saying it has to do with pet cleanup for which I could not have had part of, as I left no mess behind except for maybe a messy slept in bed. As this fee has already been charged to my card without notice for me to notice on my bank statement days later, I can only reflect the absolutely discouraging and uncalled for and very bad business ethic of Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot in Ithaca, NY on this review. If you take the gamble of booking with this hotel, all I can say is watch your bank statement afterwards for absurdities, and you've now been fairly warned!

Very nice hotel. Beautiful room and friendly staff.

Very helpful staff, the front desk staffer made me a brand new carafe of decaf coffee at night and it was delicious, and the manager bought me oranges for the grab & go bag since I am allergic to apples.nnThe only complaint was that when you put the dirty towels out in the morning they did not replace them without you asking for them. Due to Covid, they don't make up your room daily.

Amazing front desk and all over staff. Professional, friendly & genuinely helpful. Clean , clean , clean !!!
