Whiton Hall Rooming House

The only good thing about this place is that it's cheaper than other places. However, I saw my room price goes up by $45 according the their website.nnAccording to my experience:n- it's super hot in summer even with a fann- one time they came in to fix my window without letting me know the date (even though I specifically tell them to do that in the email.n- if you are lucky, you'll get floormates that know how to clean after themselves after using the bathrooms/kitchenn- if you are unlucky, you might walk in seeing clogged sink in the kitchen, hair everywhere in the tub, or toothpaste on the mirrorn- Think of subletting during summer? Well, the company doesn't make life easier for you. You will be responsible for holding deposits (from subtenant) and decide yourself when to give back even though you may ask for full security deposit which the company can hold instead of your deposit.

I would strongly recommend anyone looking for housing in Ithaca to not choose Whiton Hall. While it is cheap you are getting even less than what you pay for. The TVs in the living rooms that supposedly have cable don't even work. The rooms are either freezing or way to hot.
