Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown

My stay at the Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown was eventful! One of the best stays at a Hotel I ever experience. I drove 4 hrs to stay at the Canopy with my family during the week of March 29th-April 2. Excellent staff!! The front desk, cleaning staff, guests, everyone was so pleasant to be around. If I had questions or concerns, the front desk was so helpful. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

They don't provide housekeeping DURING your stay, only between guests.nEven though Hilton policy during COVID is to give the guests the choice of how often they want their rooms cleaned, this hotel doesn't clean. I requested daily service and they gave me the runaround. If you like clean rooms, stay elsewhere.

The Hilton Canopy in Ithaca lucked out with some of the sweetest, most capable, and accommodating staff. I also love the fireplace in the lobby and the gym - cherries on the cake.

Air conditioning did not work. They are very short staffed so no one would answer the phone or help us. I asked the manager to call me but she never did. I am a Hilton Gold member. I stay at Hiltons all of the time. This is by far my worst experience at one of their hotels.

Customer service was great, room was hip and modern. Some services were lacking because of COVID but that's understandable. I'd come back and next time go for the suite!
