Colonial Inn And Motel

Very good ice cream! We got two pints with two flavors in each. The pints weren’t filled all the way, but the ice cream was delicious! I would also recommend the pizza right outside the Colonial Inn. It was delicious and we went back twice to get more!!

Despite seeing a Trump campaign sign in the Inn's front yard, I tried to keep an open mind as I prefer to patronize mom & pop shops. However, my stay proved to be very uncomfortable. The owners did not wear masks inside, which was concerning. There was a problem with flies in our room. After killing three, I stopped trying. The room was either freezing or boiling hot, no in between. OK, so it's an older building, I get that. But there were only two pillows on the bed with two more stacked on a shelf without pillowcases. We really wanted to use the extra pillows and asked for pillowcases, but were told there were no clean linens to be had. Noise was also an issue, as we could hear the conversations and snoring happening in the rooms above and next to us all night. All in all, not very welcoming.nnThe ice cream was OK.

Great place. Delicious wood fire pizza and then fantastic homemade ice cream. What could be better?

The room had only 1 king bed and 1 twin size bed that was added as an afterthought. The mattress was probably a century old. The whole room smelled musty and old and dirty, and it triggered my mild dust allergy to the point where I couldn’t breathe while inside, which never happens because my allergy is usually not that bad. The bathroom mirror is broken, as well as room shades and a tv. The AC worked only for 2 days and and the windows were broken and would not stay open. The whole experience was like staying in an old grandmas nightmare room.

I went in because I wanted an after dinner milkshake. The woman working the counter was so nice and pleasant, but the milkshake was sub-par. It tasted like contained mostly milk, and it was overprices.
