The Falls Motel

Clean, quiet and comfortable....at a higher price than it should have been. ($155 + taxes and fees) But I have paid more for less. Lower the price per night and you'll have a five star review.

The Falls Motel is a great place to stay when you are visiting Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes region of New York. The motel is very close to Watkins Glen International racetrack and it is close to everything else in the area. Owner Mike and his family run a great motel which is clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was clean, newly renovated. Staff were friendly and responsive. Issue was we booked on hotels.com but if we called the hotel directly the price would have been $20 a night cheaper and the hotel's bar/restaurant was closed, not noted on the website.

I have never been as bitten by bugs as I have been this past weekend staying at this motel. I don't know if it was bef bugs or not, but I never had anything like this happen to me. And that includes camping trips.

No bar or restaurant anymore. Very rude front desk. Not worth being this far out of town for a mediocre bed to sleep in.
