Seneca Lodge

Stumbled upon this place after trying one of their beers at another brewery. Went in for burger night and was not disappointed! Krysta was so friendly, energetic and attentive. We got flights that included all 6 of their beers and we liked all of them. The Pineapple Cream Ale was full of flavor. Food was great, fries were cooked perfectly. We had a few more pints and then grabbed some 6 packs to go. Will definitely come back next time we are in town. I wish they were on the New York State Brewers Association app so we would have known about them before!

We always stay at the Seneca lodge when going to Watkins Glen. The Glen is literally across the street. The motel is clean, efficient and rustic. We stay in the a frame now, which includes three bedrooms with four beds, a kitchen with all u would need to cook a meal, but the food. The lodge has a restaurant and a bar where they brew their own beer. It is a short half mile drive from the main strip. Perfect spot for a rustic vacation. Fire pits and firewood available on site.

We were worried about staying here after reading some recent reviews, but our stay was wonderful. Our cabin was spotless on check in (we brought our own bedding because of COVID and I can tell you the mattresses were similarly very clean - we really didn’t need to use our own things). The staff happily accommodated our request to change our towels and empty the garbage outside instead of coming in so we could keep a Covid-safe space. The front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was clean and inviting, we ate there one night (burger night) and both the food and service were great. The only thing I found to be accurate in the previous reviews was that they don’t provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc., but I was prepared and would have brought my own anyway. Our cabin was perfectly located to do all the hiking we could want. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Restaurant is amazing, food was delicious. We had broiled scallops and prime rib. Rooms are clean, bed and pillows are super comfy, but no fridge for water or drinks , so bring your cooler. On a motorcycle so that would not have worked for us. Our room was looking into a center common area where a group had a campfire.

Straight dirt. Walk in, none of the staff has their masks on (doesn't bother me) but the old lady behind the counter wouldn't service me unless I had my mask on. Mind you, she's behind a plastic barrier. Discrimination if you ask me. Food is phenomenal but over priced. Even the waitress was semi rude. Rates are good. Definitely some meth heads running around. Upstate NY at it's finest. Didn't feel comfortable in the environment. The patrons are really nice. Except for the weird people who come around.
