Scottish Inns Potsdam, NY

The people who run this inn are wonderful. The rooms have been updated. They were very clean. I walked around in white socks on the carpet and they showed no sign of dirt. The tv was great. I like they had 3 different kinds of pillows on the bed. This way you could find the best one for sleeping. The refrigerator was bigger. Not the tiny ones they normally have in hotels. The shower, sink and toilet was spotless. The only thing that should be changed is. They should put a curtain on the back window in the room and in the bathroom. It only has a wooden blind. In the morning the light in blaring. Outside of that they did a great job.

Rooms are nice and small. Walls are thin.. made for an interesting night hearing our neighbors hahah. Shower doesn't get super hot. Clean place though

The beds were AWESOME. The room was NICE! Needs available outlets for charging phones. I had to unplug the microwave. The shower was hot. A bit low on water volume but not horrible. Not enough towels but that was ok because we always bring our own. Plenty of great pillows.nI did have a problem with the heat. The room was SO hot! And we couldn't find an AC to cool it down. We turned off the heaters and opened all the windows, which there were many! Even the bathroom had a window!! By 3AM I was freezing (New Years Eve)nThe pet fee is 30$. Which is kinda high, but they were the ONLY pet friendly hotel ANYWHERE in the area.nNo breakfast due to the CV19 scare.nnGreat job guys!!

Really nice there people are friendly and the beds are extremely comfortable I highly recommend staying there if you're nearby
