Super loud construction that started at 7:30 each day and lasted until 5pm. Completely unable to sleep or work in this type of environment

For those on a budget this is probably the best option you can get close to Manhattan, in particular arriving from JFK. I stayed for a week when I arrive in NYC 1.5 years ago. The rooms are pretty small, but you’ve got everything you need (and more Colin nice rooftop terrace with a view) and they make a real effort with (a standard) breakfast.

Clean Rooms, quite Place when you will stay in New York. Phenomenal breakfast. Only two minutes footwalk to subway.

Modern, chic hotel with decent size rooms, clean, bathrooms are nice. Views are ok but could be better.
