Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain Inn

I stayed at the stone lodge this passed weekend and omg it was so adorable and accommodating. Outside of our room in the stone lodge was a kitchenette area with a fire place, dining room table, and a microwave. Due to Covid the dining hall is closed but we brought food from home so we were able to reheat it there but the front desk also provided restaurants near by that deliver.nThe day we left we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at the inn lodge and than we walked to the zoo. The Bear Mountain zoo was a must with really interesting animals and facts. The front desk was also very helpful with directions and questions involving the area.nWe stayed in a queen room which was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was really nice as well. After hiking all day it was the perfect place to shower and relax. I would 100% come back during one of the warmer months and enjoy the front deck of the cabin facing the mountain or the row boats in the lake.nI can't say enough about how much I really enjoyed this place but the views are 100% worth it and breathtaking!

Beautiful place. Very nice Restaurant. The cottages were rustic with a fireplace in the middle of the building for all Tenants to enjoy together.

Loving that rustic environment. Still one of the best place to stay in the mountains. The rooms were clean the bathrooms were clean. The cottages had the smell of firewood which was a beautiful thing. Even though it rained for 2 days we enjoyed our visit very much. A short ride to the nearest town is an added convenience. The campus, while beautiful, does not make up for the cottages. The beds are only Fulls, not even Queens. The rest of the room is tiny and bland. The bathroom was so small the door didn't even open all the way. I was there for a wedding with the Bridal Party and it was nice for that but they're should have been a better discount to stay there with a group. Definitely not worth 250/night when the whole bridal party takes up the whole cabin. Also, if there's an extra room, strangers can stay there and that could cause issues
