Tru by Hilton Syracuse-Camillus

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It was nice, clean, and very simple which I liked. I'm only giving 4 stars because 1- it didn't have a microwave in the room, 2- there was no water bottle in the room (I found out later that there's a water cooler downstairs off of the lobby), and 3- because I booked a regular king room but I got one with a disability shower. They explained that they were having some events there that week so all other rooms were booked, but still a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable and the room was nice.

We needed to stay here as a last minute emergency. I called ahead and Dennis was so friendly and helpful telling me what I could expect when we arrived. The rooms were immaculate and we felt so comfortable there. We were happy to get to spend another night there as well. For such a affordable hotel it was amazing!

The lobby is very nice, inviting and spacious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, ac and heat worked amazing. I love having the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash readily available but sadly there was no hot water.

The rooms are spacious & clean. Did have to go to front desk as some soap dispensers were empty. The breakfast is boxed, not great. They only have one coffee and it is very very strong so couldn't enjoy that. Overall this is a different brand of the Hilton family of hotels geared more toward younger adults I feel. I would stay again as it is close to family.

For our son’s 12th bday he wanted to go to Destiny Mall (we live in Rochester so it’s 90 minutes drive to Destiny Mall) so of course we decided to stay at Tru and our first time there, all three of us enjoyed it very much. The price is perfect, very clean (a plus for me!) and comfortable beds. I would definitely go back again!
