This past weekend I visited my girlfriend in Rochester and we stayed at this hotel right outside the city. The front desk people that checked us in at night we’re friendly and helpful. As I do in any hotel I checked immediately on and around the mattress for bed bugs to which I didn’t see any. Fast forward to the next day and my girlfriend pointed out not one or two but many bed bugs on the frame of the bed and the back board. Absolutely disgusted by this finding we packed up and left earlier then we had wanted to that morning. When going to the front desk to complain about what we had just witnessed the woman working that morning was not helpful. She made a comment that “we should’ve told her last night.” Obviously we didn’t see them last night and to have her be unapologetic and without any remorse for the fact we found bed bugs in our room was absurd. When I asked to have my card refunded she said she wasn’t able to and when I asked to speak to a manager she said I would have to wait until Monday. Do not go here at any expense. If one room has bed bugs the entire hotel does. I had to pay to get my car vacuumed and my clothes dry cleaned in order to not spread them to my house or hers. Absolutely disgusting.

Don't stay here unless you like weed and want to party. I should have know there was a problem when we walked into the lobby and the smell of weed was strong and my husband had to sign papers saying that we would have no open flames, no pets, and no guests other than those registered to the room. We went through the lobby several times and each time it smelled of weed. All night long the smell of weed just kept getting worse and it was all you could smell in our room. People were carrying on in the hallway laughing and running until 3 in the morning. The smell of weed was still bad in the morning and horrendous in the hallway when we went to leave. When I mentioned it to the staff when we left she apologized and said that the staff should have been checking. However, she didn't seem surprised at all that people were being loud all night and smoking weed. Definitely, not a family friendly hotel. This was probably the worse hotel stay I have ever had. We couldn't leave soon enough.

Called this morning after having booked online for a stay after surgery for a family member. Kim at the front desk answered my call when inquiring about an early check in, she was very kind and very accommodating. There was availability for a room and she got us in extra early! There were some other places in the area we had called and everyone was quite rude. Kim and the rest of the staff here stood out.

Staff was fine but facility was in poor shape. Needs a lot of updating.
