Albergo Allegria Hotel & Breakfast Restaurant

This is a lovely little B&B right in Windham, so close to the ski mountain and main street. When our lodging plans fell through last minute due to COVID, we booked an affordable and adorable room in the Albergo for my birthday. We ended up having a really enjoyable stay-- the room was clean and cozy and perfect for what we needed, which was a cozy spot for the night. We didn't enjoy breakfast but noticed many people were eating what looked like a tasty meal in the lodge. The common area is cute with lots of activities, perfect for the morning before heading out on a drive or for skiing. So appreciative of this last-minute option and the hospitality they provided!

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with kindness and warmth. We were given all the information we needed and any information about dining and experiences in the area. The room was very clean and the property felt very safe. There is a good amount of dining options near but you HAVE to check out their food! It was fresh and delicious. As for experiences, there are some beautiful hikes that are only a 30-minute drive from the hotel. This is an excellent place to get away from the hustle and bustle and truly relax.

We stayed at this place for a night and paid $225 for a night. We have 3 small kids and 2 adult. This is a family short trip to the Windham mountain. Location is good, room is good, breakfast is great and reasonable price. Only things I would like to mention is that we were told by the owner that some other guest is complaining about a noise coming from our room at around 8pm and warned us to keep quite during quite hours 10pm-9am.TV in our room was not working, Jacuzzi was little dirty. Overall is good but not a kids friendly place.

my bf and i decided to go away for labor day weekend at the last minute. all of the well-known boutique hotels in the area were completely booked and i was scrambling to find somewhere to stay near a main town and located around some good dining options. this hotel's raving reviews caught my eye. i was able to book a junior suite for a very reasonable price, so it was very spacious for 2 people. the draw of the suite for me was the personal porch with ample space and furniture, looking out onto the mountains. the hotel itself had a very homey feel and great customer service. between the various indoor and outdoor seating options, the short walk to a secluded creek and the extensive DVD collection, i was impressed by the extra touches that didn't go unnoticed. what put this place over the edge was its breakfast. run, do not walk, to try breakfast at this hotel. the food was generously portioned, uniquely flavored, tasty and beautifully presented - essentially everything you could want in a meal. they have won several awards for their breakfast and now i understand why. luckily, even if you are not staying here, it is open to the public starting at 10 am. there are so many great hotels in the catskills and i truly believe this is one of the best.

Marianna and her husband were so incredibly kind, hospitable, and friendly. Our room was amazing and the amenities were fantastic. The bed was huge and comfortable - the entire room was so spacious. The attention to detail was seen so clearly in the cute decor (honestly in every other aspect as well!) The common area is beautiful and comfortable and the perfect amount of cozy. The massive collection of DVD’s - modern and classic - was such a perfect surprise. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
