The Thompson House

We enjoyed our stay immensely. There is so much to do at The Thompson House itself. Plus there are many hiking trails to explore. The Thompson Family are wonderful people who made our stay perfect.

Beautiful family-oriented northern Catskill resort. Room was large, had balcony, tv and fridge. Very clean, good linens, bed was firm. Morning Coffee was available at front desk.

I have wonderful memories of vacations at The Thompson House. Great accommodations, wonderful host and hostesses and fun entertainment. Hope to get there soon!

Very friendly staff and nice room

A lovely family mountain resort. During the summer, they offer great meal plan (breakfast / dinner), which is consistently excellent. Menu varies every day, but it is always abundant and delicious.nnMost importantly, it is family-owned, and the the family is caring, attentive, friendly and efficient. There are plenty of outdoor activities available (heated swimming pool, tennis courts, badminton, bocce, shuffleboard, hiking), as well as evening entertainment (movie nights, trivia games, bingo nights, comedians, etc).nnStrongly recommended!
