The Kaaterskill

Such an amazing break from city life! This was the perfect weekend getaway. The hotel was self check-in which was great during covid. The room itself was massive and the soaking tub was bigger than expected. The fireplace was a great touch, but ours continued to burn out quickly. The animals were fantastic and the grounds are stunning, especially in the snow. The only negative was the bathroom had a rotten smell every now and again. Highly recommended overall!

Great place. The negative reviews on this place are absurd. This place is really nice! I definitely suggest staying here for sure if your in town. The animals and property are absolutely beautiful! The room was nice!

Great day hike. Wear good hiking boots and layers this time of year. Park in the first lot for the park. The route23A lot is usually full and a dangerous walk on the roadway. The park lots all lead to the falls and good viewing points photo is from the viewing platform. Expect to spend 2 hours there..

It is just an amazing place to retreat from the city. I highly recommend it for rest and relaxation. Pure Vida!

I absolutely love The Kaaterskill. I have stayed here a couple times now, and I fall more in love with it every time! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, there are so many incredible animals, and there are beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails right along the property. The Kaaterskill rooms are so aesthetically pleasing and you can tell it is wonderfully thought out, and not to mention SO SO clean!! I would recommend coming here 100%, it is my favorite place to get away from the city, and just really relax and enjoy nature.
