Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Fishkill/Poughkeepsie Area

Honestly, I came because I saw there was a full breakfast offered and a nice looking fireplace. Arrived and the fireplace isn’t allowed to be used, the breakfast was Wheaties, skim milk, and an orange juice in a bag, and the shower looks like it wasn’t cleaned in quite some time. See photos. Glad I didn’t wait until the morning to pick up this breakfast -- perhaps including some remarks online about different expectations would help a prospective guest more accurately decide whether the perks are worth staying. I guess it’ll just be a place I sleep and wash my hands. The room is spacious, and the kitchen is pretty large, so I will say that dance parties are very much a solid option, even solo. But as another guest review remarked, there is some kind of odor that isn’t very pleasant lingering. Would not stay again.

Little dingy on the outside but great spaces within at reasonable prices, and even allows pets.

The true 3-star place and needs to be judged as such.nNice suite with two bathrooms, kitchenette and sleeping area upstairs.nA bit worn-up, looks like mid-90s and could use more thorough cleaning (sticky side table). Bathroom clean and sanitized.

I got a great internet deal on this room for the weekend. Place is being renovated or rip down but the quality of the room was good.
