Courtyard by Marriott Fishkill

A quality hotel that is near a few good towns. Nice staff and good rooms. If you're looking for a affordable and easy to get to hotel, try this place.

A little run down. Chair in room showed wear. Toilet was not flushing well. Asked staff if they could have someone look at it when I was out to dinner. Tissue that was there in the bowl was still there when I arrived back so I'm assuming no one came. Other than that the stay was quiet and uneventful.

Great location on I84. Near a great city called Beacon NY in the Hudson River Valley. Lots of food and gas near by. Hotel is a old style Courtyard that has been remodeled. Hotel was very clean and they did a good job with Covid mitigation. I wish they had wipes in the room, but I brought my own.nnBreakfast during Covid was a free grab and go set up in the lobby. I kind of liked that. Individual bagel, muffins and more wrapped and in a white paper bag.nnMy only complaint was they still had a very small TV and the one in my room did not work.

Room was clean. Stayed in a suite. The couch was a little on the hard side and could use pillows as you had to sit far back on the couch. Chairs also on the hard side. Bed was comfortable. Very nice fire pit outside. Unfortunately there were 6 adults sitting there, all without masks. When we checked out the front desk clerk was rather nasty.

Very nice hotel Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, professional, knowledgeable and respectable. Rooms are great, comfy. Only thing is that the sofa could use some cushions and some outlets for laptop plugs. The rooms do have a lot of conveniences although. On our check out it was a little disappointing the women at the desk wasn't to friendly to us or other guests. No thanks or goodbye. But don't let that discourage you, some times people just are having a bad day. Still is a great hotel.
