Front desk (Barbara) super welcoming and friendly. Newly renovated room and lobby clean and bright. King bed nice and comfy. Shower pressure good and hot. Great location. Dog friendly A+. Reasonable price. Nice work guys

The gentleman at the front desk was very accomodating and polite, and everything was nicely sanitized. Social distance and mask-wearing were observed by everyone, which was nice. The room was very clean, but there were some old fixtures (doors, locks, etc.). Didn't detract from the stay, but was obvious. The bathroom has all new tile and fixtures, but is also small. The filters on the HVAC unit hadn't been cleaned in quite a while and were dirty enough so that they reduced airflow. Ample free parking in a newly-paved lot. Pet-friendly with a very reasonable fee! I'd stay here again if I was in the area.
We immediately checked in and checked back out. Room was super tiny and had a barnyard type smell to it. Very disappointing.
Over the years we have stayed in most of the hotels in the Northampton area, the Ellery was a pleasant place to stay and we will look no further next time we are passing through.
