Nice place. First time here. Excellent layout. Roomy. Good parking. Quiet.

Do NOT STAY HERE. Getting past the front desk is a feat all in itself with the incompetents running it.nnl had egregious accusations made, my character questioned, my reservation cancelled and put on a Do Not Rent To list due to a person calling in upsetting an employee. The person calling in WAS NOT ME. I booked my reservation online, never dialed a number. So, this employee who made a mistake and her supervisor who (without getting the facts whatsoever) amplified it by not asking me questions, investigating properly, and understanding how things work (life) - ruined a weekend and cost me money and time. Neither employee has been reprimanded and is an example of why that hotel is disgusting as they hire, maintain questionable and highly unprofessional staff.

Stay away! Scariest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were in town for a hockey tournament. Reeked of smoke and marijuana everywhere despite being a nonsmoking floor. Side entrance door was unlocked all the time despite having a key card reader. Blood stain on the wall in my room. Phone did not work. My reservation was for four people, but room only came with two towels and when i requested two more towels i was told i couldn’t get any until the following day because laundry was being done next door at the Red Roof Inn. Very thin walls. The people next door were banging on our walls when my daughter cried due to the smoke smell. The room on the other side of me had the door knob ripped out. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a hotel before...wonder if it’s a welfare hotel?

Met our basic needs. Staff was super friendly, bed was really comfy, it was quiet. But the pool wasn't heated as advertised. The resturaunt was closed and has been for awhile. The ice machines on both floors were broken. Breakfast was basic and boring, nothing hot. Two side entrences were open at all times because the locks were broken which made me feel unsafe. Vending machine was out of bottled water.

I stayed here thirty years ago when it was a Holiday Inn. At the time it was nice, but now it needs some help. It's been split into two brands; Ramada in the front, Red Rood in the back, kinda like a bad 80's mullet, which is kind of appropriate.nIt's not bad, overall, with a pool and good parking, but there are better options at the same price point.
