Rivertown Lodge

Cozy place offering on site breakfast and dinner and bar. Things large enough to turn around, decorated in Alpine accents. Clean. Quiet. Helpful staff Moderately, to costly pricing. Recently renovated from the town cinema building.

Terrible experience. Expect to wait a half hour for your first drink and an hour for your first food. They burnt the bread for dinner. Then at brunch the next day burnt the bread on an egg sandwich. The food was bland an underwhelming. A lack of quality in multiple aspects of the experience. The restaurant was not at capacity either meal.

Went in on a quiet Saturday night. Terrible service; always waiting for a drink or the food. Very disappointed in the food. Much of it was burnt. Ended up paying cash because after 20 minutes was still waiting for them to take the credit card.

rivertown is home away from home. it’s comfy, the rooms are quiet, the coffee in the morning is great. tavern food exceeded my expectations as a vegetarian, lil deb’s in the back rounds out the whole experience for casual evening drinks and snacks. location can’t be topped. aesthetic is next level on attention to detail. service is outstanding. this place is a gem.
