The Spencer Hotel & Spa

We got the browning room and an attitude. We were rented a room with a door that doesn't close and were treated as 2nd class citizens since we walked in the door. Probably fine for white people

This hotel has a lot of great character and charm. The location is wonderful and the staff was pleasant and welcoming. The room, though smaller than expected, was cozy. All in all a relaxing time.

We were so pleased to stay at the Hotel with friends over a July weekend. The location was perfect. We could hear music from the amphitheater’s front porch. Pleasant breakfast and rooms perfectly met our needs. Owners were ever available with fabulous staff to jump in to accommodate. Hope to return this year.

We enjoyed our stay at Spencer and the owners are very nice. Guests should know that this is a very old hotel. It has a lot of character, but also the quirks of an old building. Would have loved to have the room a bit warmer (visit in November) and the shower pressure was very weak. The price was a bit high for the accommodation, but we did enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful stay when visiting The Spencer Hotel & Spa! The charm of the hotel, along with the great staff that made it a warm and welcoming stay, helped make this a memorable trip. We will definitely be back!
