Pops Bike Shop

I love walking into this shop. Marc is straightforward and goes to bat for his customers when it comes to fixing things, especially when a part may be hard to get. I'm on my second bike purchase from Pops and have used them to service my other bikes, or get parts as needed. Even in the pandemic with limited store hours I know I can call ahead and get an idea for what they have or what they can get for me. Great to have a shop like this so close to home. Wishing the Pops guys all the best!

My experience has only been over the phone. Wife & I looking to get into Biking have been shopping for a Hybrid Bike specifically the Trek DualSport. Pops was very understanding and help educate us on different options and current demand for bikes. Rep on the phone was very pleasant and was honest about the options and what’s coming in stock.nnOverall I’m really looking forward to come into store to get the gear and confirm best option for bikes.

I had great experience getting my bike fixed at this shop! They were so efficient and charging quite reasonable price!

I brought my bike in to get my gear shifter adjusted. When I got the bike back and brought it home, I noticed the handlebars were crooked. No problem, I adjusted it myself. Then when I went to ride it I noticed that the brakes weren’t working, which was not the case when I brought it in. I called to ask about it and was told that they wouldn’t have touched the brakes because I only asked them to fix the gear shifting. I repeated that the brakes were fine when I dropped the bike off and not working after I picked it up, but was told again that the workers wouldn’t have touched my brakes. I understand that they probably wouldn’t throw their workers under the bus while on the phone with me even if they did think they messed something up, but the issue remains that my bike had problems when I picked it up that it didn’t have when I dropped it off. They also suggested that I might’ve done something to it while taking it home. I was a bit shocked that they would completely deflect any possible responsibility. I was told to bring it back in so they could check it out, but they said they’d charge me for it. Won’t be coming back to them for service.
