The staff was amazingly polite & welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Too bad this damn virus made them close down the pool. It looks very inviting. Breakfast was so so, but they can't open the dining room due to CoVID-19, so they get a pass. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit the area.
Older property. Very convenient location. Staff is courteous and do their best to keep it functioning but several rooms that we were shown had obviously been smoked in/ lived in so often it was impossible to deodorize/ clean them properly. Eventually we settled on a grim little room near the office that seemed comparatively cleaner. Everything was functional. We tried to change hotels after one night but we used a 3rd party booking site and the site manager would not waive our change/ cancelation fee. Next time we'll pay a little more to stay somewhere nicer but there are few options in Dover within walking distance to downtown.
They are not very efficient when it comes to necessary repairs, like a clogged sink
They were very accomodating to an elderly, homeless lady and her beautiful kitten. We happened upon them both in front of 7/11 one late night. The woman had been wauting outside in the cold for 41/2 Hours waiting forba ride to get her cat and go to a hotel for the evening.nLong story short(very short compared to the actual time it took for all of this to happen). ud83eudd26. The entire place needs to be renovated but an interim update worked out well. Price was too high.
