Merkle did my roof a number of years back, at a very good price, travelling down to Warren, MI to do the roof. I am still in awe of how well the roof has held up. I think I only found one small piece of a shingle after workers were done. Neighbors were impressed with the workers who did the work while I was at my own job. I have referred a number of people to Merkle, just with they were were located closer. I found Merkle from a reference of a friend who is also very satisfied.
very helpful through whole process, did a whole tear off with a new roof and gutters. Joe ensured we got the most $ we could from insurance Co. with our claim. Would recommend to everyone.
Hard to get him on exact schedule but he does great job with affordable price
We had Merkle remove 2 layers, and install new GAF Timberline 30 year on 5/23/2006. Roof was leaking in family room this past week. Another local, established, good reputation roofer inspected our roof today and stated these good quality shingles were installed incorrectly 12 years ago! They should have been “stepped” and they were not. The roof is now soft and we don’t know how many boards will have to be replaced. The instructions are clear on the GAF packaging for correct installation. We now have to remove the 12 year old shingles and replace boards at a very large cost to us. Shame on Merkle!
Our roof was done by Merkle 5 years ago and EVERYTHING about the work/experience was excellent. I highly recommend them.
