Great location, wonderful innkeepers, and seriously the BEST breakfasts I have ever had at an inn/B&B! Su and Andy were wonderful - very helpful and attentive. They catered to my vegan dietary restriction every morning. Andy was very helpful with maps and suggestions for things to do for day trips for us. Our suite was huge! We had a living room with fridge, TV, couch, rocking chair, and large closet. We also had a screened in porch with chairs where we had cocktails each night. The bedroom area was large and the bed and pillows were so comfy. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and other things to do. Highly recommended. Will be back (someday!).

This is the third summer that I’ve stayed at Tanglewood Hall. This visit, my girlfriend and I stayed in the York Harbor Suite, which was spotless, spacious and very comfortable for a couple. I especially loved the unique sunroom for having my morning coffee. You can’t go wrong with the location—it’s tucked away yet close to everything. Su and Andy are extremely knowledgeable hosts. Don’t hesitate to ask for suggestions based on your ideal day. Wish they still had the delicious homemade cookies out for snacking, but so it goes during COVID. Thanks for the wonderful visit! P.S. Breakfast is amazing and make sure to check out the garden at night.

We had a wonderful experience at this charming B&B. The hosts are very gracious and are very knowledgeable about the area. We stayed two nights and the breakfasts had everything to provide you with a good start to the day. If you are considering a romantic getaway in southern Maine, this is a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. Minutes away from the Cliffs Walk. Terrific hosts Andy and Su have is maps and loads of helpful info on the area and directions that Incorporated lots of sightseeing on our way to Acadia.

The Inn at Tanglewood Hall is a delight from the moment you arrive until second you leave. Inn keepers Su and Andy go out of their way to make sure your visit to York Maine is a spectacular experience. We have stayed with them three times. Each visit feels like a visit home. Upon arrival we are greeted with enthusiasm and warmth. The home is meticulously kept. Our rooms were warm, cozy and very comfortable. We stayed in three different rooms during this visit. Our favorite is the York Harbor Suite. Every morning we awake to the smell of a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed on the large front porch while dining with other guests and watching birds flicker in the surrounding trees and greenery. We can’t say enough good about this inn and the hosts. If you are looking for a place to stay in southern Maine with great convenience to the beach, Portland and Portsmouth this is your place. We already booked the York Harbor Suite for eight nights next year. We can’t wait to visit Andy and Su again.
