Under New Management! Owners and Staff very friendly and accommodating. Stayed here for our annual York Beach Vacation, with our dog! The view was amazing! I would return and was very happy staying here. Improvements to the property happening daily. I can easily see this being a very popular place in the future. There are fire pits to sit at in the evening. Grills to cook at and picnic tables. Across the street at low tide you can venture out to the rocks. You can walk to the beach or drive down. We took our dog down to Long Sands every morning from 6AM to 8AM to run the beach free and socialize. So many dogs come to do the same thing. Such a great time! Thank you for having us and making our Vacation wonderful. Wish you the best in the future and we will be back!

After asking in a FB Group for York Beach Rentals, for recommendations of places to stay for a long weekend one of the owners commented with their location (I was excited since my family has stayed at this location numerous times over the last 60 years, I knew that it was under new ownership and they had been doing alot of work on the property & that they had 2 & 3 bedroom cottages!) I contacted the owner via email he explained to me the differences in the cottages and showed me pictures of all the work they had been doing on the newly renovated cottages. I choose to rent the 3 bedroom over the 2 bedroom as it was only $25 more and was told that they had all been renovated. There was also promotion on their website with no exclusions for 20% off 2 or more nights for the month of August if you mentioned the Dog Days Of Summer. After corresponding with the owner and letting him know I would like to book and what steps I should take next, I never heard back so I called the phone number listed on their website to make reservations.nnWhen I mentioned the promotion I was told that he needed to speak with his business partner as they just took ownership and weren't sure if they would be able to honor that discount, I of course took a screen shot of it and emailed the owners at a later date to follow up & was told that I wouldn't be able to use that since it was only extended by the former owners as well as promotions for free breakfast.nnWe went ahead with booking though and arrived 30 minutes before check-in they allowed us to check-in early... wonderful!nnI couldn't wait to see what they had done with the cottages & walked into a cottage that had NOT been renovated, disappointed I returned to the main office to see what was going on & was told that I made the reservation with the partner and not the person I had been corresponding with through emails with - they gave us the option to stay in the cottage that we were placed in or to move the following night into one of the renovated ones with no thought to compensate for their error.nnI told them that we would stay in the cottage we were in but I wanted the discount that I was told I couldn't have when booking... after checking with his business partner they did allow it.nnIt would have been nice to have a list of amenities to know what to expect and/or pack. They have a handful of grills on their property which was awesome, be bought our own charcoal and lighter fluid as we weren't sure if that was something that we would have to have or they provided & didn't want to take the chance of having to go back to the store to get those things after waiting to ask.nnWe were hoping to use the pool, which was close due to Covid19, it was never mentioned to me & I forgot to ask when booking.nnOverall the owners seem attentive are nice & friendly, updating things daily & we had a great time (the cottage is just a place to lay our tired heads and to eat) otherwise and hope that they are able to get their business practices in order.nnThere is so much potential & we are looking forward to giving them another chance in the future!

My family and I just spent four nights here and we will definitely return! All of the staff were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a good one. We stayed in the newly remodeled three bedroom cottage at the front of the property and the view was breathtaking! The cottage was clean and it truly felt like home. So many updates are being made daily to the property and I look forward to returning to see the finished product. I have listed below the pros and cons of our stay. The location is perfect! We had an oceanfront room. You can watch the sunrise. See Nubble Lighthouse and walk across to the beach for the day. Close to several restaurants.
