The cabins are very cozy and clean! Is is a beautiful place to stay for anyone who loves being out in nature.

Terrific place, excellent location, wonderful hosts. A lot of comfort in the middle of the woods. The trails onsite are well marked and maintained. Be sure to get breakfast at Dot's down the road.

We’ve stayed at Point Lookout in the past (2016)& found it to be excellent! The facilities were beautiful, the grounds well cared for & amenities were on point.nStaying this year in a 3 bedroom cabin, the cabin itself was lovely, seemed to be well cared for & was clean. The “in room” amenities were lacking. A 3 bedroom cabin with only enough towels for 4 people to shower.... we had to share, as there isn’t anyone at the front desk anymore.nThe grounds were closed off... you could not go to the lookout, as it is now private property.nWe felt that the price to stay ($700) for two nights was a bit high, compared to the amenities.nI will say that when we stayed at Point Lookout in the past it felt like a resort, this stay felt like a poorly planned Air B& B.nWe love the Penobscot Bay Area, but will be finding somewhere else to stay for our next trip.nI’m so disappointed that you can no longer go to the “Lookout” it is such a lovely view, and it’s a shame it isn’t going to be shared any longer.

For those of you who have stayed here in the past with previous owners beware, it's not the same. My partner and I have come to Point Lookout multiple times. We love the area, the cabins are beautiful and you can't beat the scenery. Sad to say the new owners either don't care about hospitality or we just happened to have rude experiences with 3 different staff members. I read other reviews the new owner isn't friendly and you may be overcharged for your stay.nI will certainly be back to the Camden area but will be looking elsewhere for vacation rentals.

Beautiful wooded property. Cabins clean and cozy . Enjoyed our fire pit. Would highly recommend Point Lookout!
