We've been traveling to the Camden area since 2012 and have stayed at the Inn at Sunrise Point on several occasions. It's always relaxing, staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast is amazing! We highly encourage you to check them out!
Words really fail here. The view is stunning and the property and staff live up to the view. Our room was exceedingly comfortable without being overdone or stuffy..but the appointments were just perfect, as you would hope. Moreover, the food was exceptional. Some of the best we've had in a 10 day trip to Maine and that includes Fore Street and The Shop in Portland. If you can, make this one of your stops.
As owners of a boutique luxury In, when we go away, we are tuned into each and every detail. At the Inn at Sunrise Point, Deana and her staff meet - and exceed - all expectations. The accommodations, the setting, the food and the service are all exceptional. And having stayed many times before... wonderful that all of the above is consistent! We whole heartedly recommend the Inn at Sunrise Point!
We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, and well appointed. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The view overlooking Penobscot is special and peaceful. All in all a very good place to get away and forget about Covid for a short period. We would go back.
What makes this place so perfect is not just it was beautiful nor just that the room and in fact the whole place was exceedingly clean in this time of Covid nor just that the people- all the people working there from the cleaning crew to the cooking staff to the proprietress were absolutely wonderful and helpful - it was all the above!nWe’ve traveled to many wonderful places around the world and this is a place we would come back to!
