Caroline is kind host who goes out of her way to make guests feel at home. We had a splendid time at her cottage that has such an expansive view of the ocean. The place is a pleasant 10 min drive from the charming town of Camden. Overall, an excellent stay that helped us reset our inner clock.
Caroline is a wonderful host. Food is delicious. Room clean and comfy. As a birder, location is excellent. Enjoyed waking early each morning to sit on the porch and watch all the wonderful birds. Lovely trees surrounded the place. So quiet and peaceful.
We were welcomed by Caroline in an incomparable way; immediately all the doors were opened, glances of the rooms of the property which was breathtaking. She offered us olives and bread and cheese (for free) since we didn't have plans to go out for food, gave us information about sight-seeing. Very nice to have a little kitchen too, only for the guests.nOur bay room was very cosy and clean with a super comfy bed, but not very big. When you have quiet some Luggage, I would choose one of the other smart rooms. We got a glance from the Suite which was truly magnificent, a place to retreat for hours and never wanting to leave…nThe breakfast served on the charming porch with sea view was the best we got during our 16-day journey. Fresh and healthy, so tasty and innovative. We ended up sitting for hours on the porch and in the living room (with cheerful music and books), to recharge after our days in Washington. We were truly sad to leave the place and Caroline! She is the perfect hostess!
We were fortunate to find this gem of a B&B in Belfast for a weekend wedding. Everything was so welcoming, from our greeting to our leaving. Be sure to spend some time on the wrap around porch, view the ocean or walk around the gardens. So relaxing!
A beautiful location with an amazing host. Outstanding coastal Maine destination. Highly recommend for a family trip or romantic getaway. Our host was wonderful and looked after all our needs, including food allergies.
