Loved it great service
Awesome experience at the Alden House! The owners are wonderful and accommodating people. The house is lovely and clean. And the breakfast was phenomenal! Would recommend to anyone visiting or passing through Belfast. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t be happier about the hospitality. 5 stars!
Beautiful 1840s home. Clean, friendly, simple, but filling continental breakfast. Close to town so you can walk in, far enough so it's quiet.
I would highly recommend The Alden House Inn to anybody. This B&B is a short, easy 1 hour drive from beautiful Acadia National Park which is also well worth a visit. The Alden House Inn is located a short walk away from downtown Belfast which includes abundant little shops, stores, and restaurants that are a pleasure to visit.nThe Inn itself is beautiful with large open grounds and quaint interior design. I was thoroughly impressed with our spacious room. Breakfast rivals that of restaurants with full service coffee and tea along with a menu describing the days offering. It was simply amazing eating salmon and eggs, sipping strong coffee reading the NYTimes or the many other options.nI was blown away and would definitely return in the future.
This inn is in great hands with its new-ish owners, who have a great touch with guests. (And touches like a handwritten Christmas card are really smart!) It's a lovely house on the prettiest street in Belfast, within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. We booked the largest room in the inn, and loved it. Our only suggestion: while the inn is very tidy and clean, the inn should really add daily housekeeping (we had to make our own bed).
