I have never stayed at The Jeweled Turret Inn although it is next to where my sister lives at least 6 months of the year. It is very well kept, has a steady flow of patrons of which many are repeaters and I hear the food is great. A beautiful period home with dedicated hosts, Carl and Cathy. Some day I'm going to treat myself and have a night at The Jewel!

My husband and I stayed at the Jeweled Turret Inn in August 2019 while visiting family in Maine. The property is kept in pristine condition and offers comfort in the sleeping rooms, reading rooms and a beautiful wraparound porch. The Inn is located in Belfast, a wonderful community full of shopping, delicious restaurants and attractions. Getting to brass tacks, the best thing of The Jeweled Turret Inn is the breakfast Cathy serves in the dining room. Incredible! Not only is everything plated in grand style, they taste delicious. I’d stay here again JUST for the breakfasts. Eating amongst other guests is a treat and often they have the best suggestions for things to see and do. Cathy and Carl are incredible hosts and make guests feel like family.

My husband and I have been staying with Carl and Kathy at the Jeweled Turret for more years than all 4 of us would likely wish to remember. When we travel to Maine from Oregon we always try to stay at the Jeweled Turret. The B&B itself is beautiful and centrally located. All the rooms are wonderful and always spotlessly clean. The Opal room is my favorite. Carl and Kathy are friendly but not intrusive. A rare and wonderful thing for inn keepers. And Kathy is an amazing cook, who has always been great about allowing me to just have a cup of coffee and some fruit or a muffin in our room. My husband is the big breakfast eater and always enjoys the delicious full breakfast that is provided.

As part of our 2019 Canada/USA trip we picked Belfast, Maine as our first port of call in the USA - we thought it was fun as my husband hails Belfast, Northern Ireland. We stayed in the Jeweled Turret Inn and regretted we only had the one night. Our room was comfortable and spotless. The Inn is well located and is a delightful and cosy place. Cathy and Carl are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed meeting fellow travellers over breakfast (which was yummy!) and Carl's stories about the Inn and especially the fireplace - I won't give away the story :-) Should we ever be in the area again The Jeweled Turret Inn will most definitely be our place of choice.

My wife and I stayed at the Jeweled Turret Inn last summer for the first time. Cathy and Cal do a great job, and we really enjoyed walking around Belfast and nearby areas for the couple days that we were in town. I am SO glad that this place, and these hard working owners, are re-opening full-bore following this craziness this spring. It's a great thing to see.
