Cedarledge cottage was the perfect choice for our week long vacation! Lovely, charming cottage with all you need to call it home away from home. Then the views of the Blue Hill Bay constantly in your eyes sight and only feet away! Also walk a short trail to your own private beach front! You won't stop taking pictures morning, afternoon or evening! The property has a deck, chairs and hammock. There's plenty of yard to play games outside with your spouse or children. The cottage boasts a queen size very comfortable bed! And another room with two very comfortable twin beds! Everything is neat and tidy and Kathy keeps charming furniture and decor in over every room to make your stay perfectly special! We are so happy with our choice to have stayed at Seaside Cottages. In our minds we could not have chosen a more perfect place to vacation! We were truly blessed! Kathy Shields and her husband take very good care of their places! Their work and care for the cottages definitely is a work of true love for their place! This just adds to the confirmation that we already feel for seaside cottages! Book your stay and thoroughly enjoy!!

Wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Acadia National Park! If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to stay close to the park, be sure and check out Seaside Cottages! The cottage was great & the view from the deck was awesome. You'll see alot of people visiting the park and Bar Harbor when you go, so coming back to the quietness of the southwest side at the end of a busy touring day on the island, really made a big difference in making a truly memorable and relaxing vacation! Thanks Kathy! We definitely will consider staying again our next trip to Maine! =)

This place is decent but swarmed/infested with mosquitos. Be mindful if you are traveling with kids. You will not be able to sit outside day or night. Owners are nice but don't seem the least bit interested in helping to mitigate the situation.
