We stayed two nights here and were very happy with our suite. It was spacious, clean and offered many nice amenities. The breakfast downstairs was very good and gave many options to choose from. The baked goods were very good with fresh donuts, muffins, cookies and scones daily. We had carryout dinner from the restaurant on our first night and were very happy with the lobster roll and lobster avocado sandwich. The downtown area was very nice to walk around in. It was the perfect peaceful getaway and very close to hiking trails and Acadia.

Very nice suite and in a great area away from the heavy tourism of Bar Harbor.

We ate at the restaurant. It is a very pleasant place that serves good food. The place was understaffed during our late September visit making for slow service.

Convenient location, homey suite with kitchenette, roomy, clean bathroom and comfortable living room. Quiet and clean. Convenient laundry in hall as well. Would stay here again if we travel here again.

We just came back from Maine. Stayed in Colonel’s Suites for 3 nights. Our king suite was very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. The owner Terry and Sherry went extra miles to make sure their guests were being taken good care of. When we first booked, the king suite was sold out, we only got a Junior suite. The 2nd night we got a king suite. The third night, we got no room. Terry/Sherry really watched out and moved things around. When we arrived, we were so happy to find out we had a king suite for 3 nights, instead of moving around and then move to another hotel on the third night. We also tried their restaurant downstairs. They were very good and reasonably priced. We ended up havingn2 dinners out of 3 night stay there. We felt like at home. We are going back in the fall. This time we are staying for 7 nights.
