Such a lovely motel! Clean and cozy. We liked our room, had a simple continental breakfast each morning, and fell in love with the surrounding area (right on the edge of Acadia NP with the coast as the view out your door). The owner was so kind, there was a room next to us that was loud past midnight one evening and he cheerfully took care of the situation and handled it with ease. He was so knowledgeable about the area and very friendly! Can’t wait to stay again.
After spending 3 seasons on MDI, I learned the quiet side was my favorite area of the island. We were lucky to find a week available at the Seawall motel. Owner dave recommended room #20 for the best view and without a doubt, he was right! Unobstructed views of the sea across the street. The room was large and comfortable. No frills, but for the price, it couldn’t be beat. Do not hesitate to stay at the Seawall motel. You will not be disappointed!
The perfect get away! Right on the ocean and away from the crowds. Dave and Vicki encourage conversation between guests and unwinding that allows one to detach from distractions and focus on rest and relaxation and building relationships with others. It is truly a hidden gem on the quiet side of the island!
The room was very clean! The host and hostess are absolutely wonderful! Loved my stay!
