We have been staying at the Kingsleigh for 20 years or more across numerous trips to MDI, and in all of our travels there is no place that feels more like home than this inn. It's beautiful, it's comfortable, and everyone you meet there is going to be extremely nice. You can walk anywhere in Southwest Harbor from the inn, and you are 20 minutes from the bustle in Bar Harbor. Do make sure that your stay includes the 'quiet side' trails and a drive around the western part of the island. It is as beautiful as anywhere we have ever been.

I can not say enough good things about our experience at Kingsleigh Inn. Wonderful hosts, gourmet breakfasts, very clean, accommodating any need we had, homemade cookies every day, happy hour with wine and homemade appetizers, port wine and homemade chocolates in room, fresh flowers everywhere.... We felt spoiled and pampered and loved it! The location is great too- within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Southwest Harbor with views of the sound.

Wonderful home with warm atmosphere. The suite on 3rd floor was absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the harbor! Hosts Bryan and Pamela were very attentive and yet unobtrusive. The 5pm wine and hors d'oeuvres time was spent meeting other guests sharing their experiences in the beautiful area of Southwest Harbor. The gourmet breakfast was delicious and fun!nWe will return!nAnne and Marla fro Louisiana

This Bed and Breakfast is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Bryan and Pamela are incredible hosts and provide everything from wine and chocolates in your room to wine and snacks in the evening after a long day of hiking or just checking out Acadia Park. The breakfast is three courses and is a gourmet level treat. Do yourself be a favor and spend a few days with them as you will not be sorry.
