Loved the Lindenwood Inn! Milan was absolutely fantastic. We unexpectedly had to arrive very late in the night and Milan was extremely accommodating about that and waited up for us. He was very friendly and charming, and made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast was included in the stay, with precautions taken for COVID-19 to have all foods individually packaged and drinks served in individual prepackaged bottles. I did not eat breakfast there because I slept in while I was there, but on the last day they were nice enough to still serve me breakfast before I hit the road and the breakfast burrito they made me was very tasty! It's much better than the cold scrambled eggs that hotels usually serve. The rooms were reasonably priced and some of the best for the price with all the research that I did - these rooms seemed to be the cleanest and I was very happy with the cleanliness of the whole place. There were also patios that were open to anyone or also private balconies depending on the room. There was also a pool and a hot tub although we did not use them while there. Parking was also available on-site. It was about a 20 minute drive to the popular spots in Acadia, and I really liked staying in Southwest harbor as opposed to Bar Harbor because Bar Harbor is a lot more congested and difficult to drive through due to traffic, whereas southwest harbor was an easy drive with good views as well as more quiet and peaceful. If I came back to Acadia I would definitely stay here again!

We had a little bit of a miscommunication when booking our stay and I have to say I have never had a property manager do more to make us comfortable and happy! Milan truly went out of his way to ensure that we had the stay in Maine that we had been dreaming of. The Inn is cheerful, charming, cozy and perfectly located. Away from the touristy hot mess that Bar Harbor can be. You feel “Maine” here. Delicious breakfasts, served in the sunny dining room by a fire were the perfect way to start each day. Southwest Harbor is a special town and community. This Inn and it’s kind staff make it your ideal home when visiting it.

The Lindenwood Inn is amazing! Milan was friendly and accommodating. Our “cottage” was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The patio and pool were private and a great place to relax. Great restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely stay there during our next trip to Maine!

I can't say enough good things about this spot and Milan was wonderful. Everything about the inn was great - room, jacuzzi, breakfast, sitting area, fireplace... it's all great.
