I bought my very first bicycle from the owner more than 35 years ago. I am planning to make another purchase this coming weekend. Over that time, this company has stayed true to their mission, and loyal to their passion. I am so glad that a business like this has been able to survive the test of time. Their product line is exemplary, and the knowledge of the entire staff is beyond expectation. Definitely go there if you’re in the market. You’ll be so glad you did.

My wife blew a tire on a sharp rock while mountain biking in Acadia National Park. The folks at Southwest Cycle were very helpful, especially given how busy they were at the moment dealing with rentals. Evan took care of us right away—a real courteous professional.

These guys are amazing!! I damaged my bike on a road trip and had limited time to get a repair during my stopover in Bar Harbor. They fixed it the same day! Awesome shop. Go here if you need a repair or new bike.

Our family (kids 10 & 12) rented 4 bicycles for the day to explore the carriage roads in Acadia at the beginning of July. We were staying in Southwest Harbor & stopped in the day before to reserve our bikes. The next morning they were tagged & waiting for us. The staff was helpful in making sure the bikes worked well for us & getting them loaded on to the car rack. We were able to return them after close of business without being charged an extra day.

These guys are legit. My bike was overseas for a year and these guys cleaned it up found out I needed new parts and fixed everything super fast. I cant thank them enough. Highly recommend this place.
