Everything that you want from a hotel from this price point. It is clean. Queen bed was firm but not hard. The room is small, but it is a hotel from the 50's. It is very quaint. When you are in Maine you shouldn't be in the room except to sleep. Just plan that only one person in the bathroom at a time. If you are using the toilet the door will bang your knees. I can almost touch corner to corner. The room has a mini fridge w/ freezer and a desk. The ac and heater where quiet. (76°-28° on my trip - I used both)The motel has a small building for the ice machine, microwave, and coin based laundry. PS. I would skip the bonfire (nice fire - strange company)

For the cost, I was expecting a shabby little motel room, but it was great. The room was really tiny - just room for a bed and a mini fridge - but really all that was needed for a day out exploring Acadia. The staff was really friendly. The pool looked clean though I didn't swim. A nice place to walk the dog behind the mote and there was a fire every night (though we didn't attend -- too tired from hiking). The location is also great! It's ten minutes from Bar Harbor. Wake up, drive into town for coffee and then ten more minutes and you're in the park. Bed was comfy, shower was hot. It's not ritzy, but for the price it was perfect.

Adorable motel! I'm a simple person, this is a simple place. They had a bonfire on clear nights and the lady at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Perfect location as well.

Great little budget motel! Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park and 20 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. Cable TV, microwave and small fridge in rooms. On site swimming pool, gas grills, laundry facilities, horseshoe pit, and nightly bonfire. Pet-friendly with tile floors. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and air conditioning worked well.

For the fairly reasonable price given its location, it’s good. Comfy bed, decent sheets & towels etc, and spotlessly clean. WiFi good, in-room coffee.nnOnly downside is a bit of road noise. AC functional if a bit noisy. Pool looked clean but we didn’t use it - arrived late, left early. Has a bit of mid-century funky charm going for it too.
